Sooo… i’m stuck in Idaho.

I know you may be thinking, “Keanna, why the heck are you even in Idaho? And why are you stuck?”. Well friends, Let me start from the beginning. My dad was gracious enough to offer his garage as storage for my things while I am abroad. The plan was to leave Minnesota, store my stuff in Idaho and spend a little time with my dad, then hop on a plane and head to Ireland. Except, Thats not what happened. I’ve been in Idaho waiting for news on when the Irish government would allow me to head over. After almost two months I finally got word that the Irish government has lifted their restrictions on long stay visas (that’s what I have). YAY!!

This is wonderful news. This means that as soon as I get my official paperwork and passport back, I can pack my things and will be on my way. Irish visa offices are still behind on loads of visa requests so I am still expecting this to take a few more weeks before I am actually sitting on a plane. However, this is still very promising news!

In the meantime, I am enjoying the time I get to spend with my family before I move so very far away. My heart is anxious to go, but I know this time of waiting is a precious reminder to trust the Lord. Thank you all for the continuous prayer and support.

Xoxo,

Keanna

Prayer Requests:

Pray for a miracle when it comes to my visa. Pray the process would be expedited.

Pray for my time spent in Idaho. Pray that I would spend this time intentionally with Jesus and the people around me.

Pray for Ireland. Pray for the people and government as they receive Afghan refugees.
